Salt River Fishing Report – (8.11.26)

Late summer season is here and that comes with low flows, clear water and pressured fish. Overall, fishing conditions are good on the Salt River with very low flows. Leftover summertime PMDs and Caddis are around. Terrestrials are continuing to make their presence known. Be ready with some dry dropper rigs as well as shallower nymph rigs. Don’t forget about Streamers too! Get on the water early. With the Snake River’s higher than average flows and off color water conditions from recent rains, the Salt River is going to be a popular place.
