Lakes Reservoir Fishing Report – (7.28.21)
Henry’s Lake: Open – Henry’s Lake is open for the season. With warming water temperatures, look for the area around creek mouths to be holding a good amount of fish. They also hold a good amount of anglers, so be early! Look for fish suspended in 3-8 feet of water eating a plethora of leeches and other baitfish patterns. An intermediate line should do the trick.
Lewis Lake: Open – Lewis Lake is open for the season. Look for fish cruising around drop offs, points and protected bays. A mix of full sinking lines as well as intermediate lines will be needed. Leftover Drakes and Flying Ants are making for some good dry fly fishing opportunities!
Jenny Lake: Fishing has been good especially during low light periods. Look for fish holding on points, ledges and drop offs as well as creek mouths. Flying ants and Terrestrials are around and the fish are eating them on calm days.
