Walk Wade Jackson Hole Fishing Report – (7.28.21)
The Jackson Hole and Teton Valley area offers some incredible DIY wade fishing opportunities during the summer and fall months. These wade fishing opportunities are starting as summer takes a firm grasp on Teton Valley and Jackson Hole. With a hot and dry spring, some of these options are presenting themselves earlier than normal.
South Fork and Palisades Reservoir Tributaries: South Fork tributaries are now open. Pine Creek, Rainey Creek and some others are on the low and warm side. If you are going to fish there, do so early in the morning when water temperatures are at their coolest. Be on the lookout for PMDs, Caddis and Yellow Sallies.
Jackson Hole/Snake River Tributaries: Snake River tributaries are in great shape and offering some cold water. Look for these to continue to offer very good fishing opportunities as summer progresses.
Teton River Tributaries: Open and fishing well! Look for these to continue to fish through the month. You may find these creeks and tributaries low and warm in August so check them out now!
