Walk Wade Jackson Hole Fishing Report – (10.15.26)
The Jackson Hole and Teton Valley area offers some incredible DIY wade fishing opportunities during the summer and early fall periods. Currently, these wade fishing opportunities are finishing up their late summer and fall fishing conditions and opportunities. As water tempatures cool and flows continue to drop, look for areas of Henry’s Fork, South Fork and Snake river as well as Flat Creek to offer some good wade fishing options.
South Fork of the Snake Tributaries: Open and fishing ok. These creeks and tributaries are on the low side with low tempatures. Be ready for some spooky fish and pair you fly selection and tippet to the situation.
Palisades Reservoir Tributaries: Open. These tributaries are fishing ok. Anglers will find cold water tempatures. Look for the occasional Terrestrial as well as some mayfly imitations to be the name of the game.
Jackson Hole/Snake River Tributaries: Open and fishing ok. Low water levels and cooler water tempatures are going to limit your fishing opportunities.
Teton River Tributaries: Open and fishing ok. Expect lower than normal water conditions and fish eagerly eating small mayfly imitations.
