Walk Wade Jackson Hole Fishing Report – (10.18.21)
The Jackson Hole and Teton Valley area offers some incredible DIY wade fishing opportunities during the fall months. These wade fishing opportunities are ending as coolder weather finally takes a firm grasp on Teton Valley and Jackson Hole. With a hot and dry summer, some of these options are too low.
South Fork and Palisades Reservoir Tributaries: South Fork tributaries are now open. Pine Creek, Rainey Creek and some others are on the low side. Maybe check them out after we get some precipitation.
Jackson Hole/Snake River Tributaries: Snake River tributaries are in ok shape and offering some cold water. Look for these to start closing their doors as fall progresses.
Teton River Tributaries: Open and fishing ok. Flows are low and the water is clear. Flows may increase with upcoming rain headed our way.
