Womens and Co-Ed Rowing Clinics: WorldCast Anglers is proud and excited to be offering our Womens Rowing Clinics as well as a Co-Ed Rowing Clinic. Breaking down the barrier of the “No Row – No Go” mentality, the WorldCast Anglers Rowing Clinics focuses on safety, rowing, techniques and drift boat/raft mechanics. As in past years, we are offering two clinic options. Our 1 day clinic combines an evening informational session with a full day on the water the following day. Our 2 day Clinic combines an evening informational session with two full days on the water the following days.
Each clinic starts with an evening in the classroom with refreshment reception. After a brief presentation by a WorldCast Anglers Head Guide Brenda Swinney, students will discuss water dynamics, boating safety and how a drift boat reacts in different water types. Lastly, the tables are then opened to the students for a question and answer session and round table discussion with our guide school instructor and all the participants in the clinic.
Learn the Essentials
The following day(s) will be held on the water to help our students build confidence and learn the essentials of spending an enjoyable and safe time on our local rivers. Participants will be paired together with a WCA Guide for a full day of rowing, complete with lunch and refreshments. Pending water conditions, the South Fork of the Snake, Snake, Teton or Henry’s Fork may all be options and considered. The mid-day lunch break will be utilized as another question and answer session with your guide for the day. With teaching, safety and experience as the priority of this clinic, no fishing or fishing equipment is allowed or needed for the day.
