Fly Fishing Idaho’s Henry’s Fork River

The earliest Salmonfly hatch in the Yellowstone ecosystem begins in May around St. Anthony and works its way upstream toward Island Park Dam. Prolific mayflies, caddis, stoneflies, midges and a wide variety of terrestrials dominate and occur throughout the entire river system through each angling season.
