The Firehole has been fishing well as well as the Madison but things are staring to slow down with the heat of the summer bearing down upon us. Yellowstone Lake is now open and the West Tumb is fishing well with full sinking lines and small leeches and chrinonomids. Yellowstone River is closed until July 15th. The Firehole and Madison are starting to get low and warm. PMDS and Caddis are the main hatches and we will see those bugs diminish as summer progresses. Swinging Soft Hackles like a traditional partridge and oranges or soft hackle pheasant tail or hares ear can be insanely productive.

Green River:[river id=’09188500′ config=’2′]
The Green’s flows have risen last week but are on the way back down. Most north facing snow must be letting loose with all this abnormally warm weather. Fishing has been ok but it will only get better as flows begin to drop. You will want to be one of the first boats on the river this time of year so be ready for the dawn patrol – Green River Style! Henry’s Fork River:[river id=’13042500′ config=’2′]
After a solid two months of great dry fly fishing, the Henry’s Fork has slowed down with the heat of the summer. The Ranch continues to produce some good dry fly fishing but be ready to provide your “A” game. The Box is still fishing well as well with nymphs. The lower river will still offer some fishing opportunities but you will be limited to early morning. (7.8.13) Henry’s Fork Fishing Resources:
