Conner was born and raised in a small town in northeast Alabama, where growing up on a farm sparked her lifelong love for the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. From the age of two, she and her family regularly traveled to the Greater Yellowstone region, building an early connection to the mountains, rivers, and wide-open spaces of the West. She attended Auburn University, earning a degree in Natural Resource Management. During her time at Auburn, Conner spent summers working on a dude ranch north of Jackson, where her passion for fly fishing and life in the American West continued to deepen.
After graduating, Conner made Jackson home and eventually found her calling as a professional fly fishing guide. On the river, she combines a deep appreciation for the ecosystem with a patient and encouraging teaching style that makes anglers of all experience levels feel welcome. Whether working with first-time fly fishers or seasoned anglers, she genuinely enjoys helping others connect with the water and the experience of fishing. When she’s not guiding, you’ll likely find Conner exploring a backcountry stream with her wife Audrey and their labradors, Norman and Ludlow.
