Erik White (Whitey) was raised in Truckee, California near Lake Tahoe, and is now a resident of Driggs, Idaho. Most of Erik’s youth was consumed with fishing and whitewater rafting in the Sierras. Starting as a whitewater guide in Northern California, Colorado, Arizona, Mexico, and Idaho, has given Erik in-depth knowledge and experience with the art of rowing and fly fishing. After five seasons on the Middle Fork of the Salmon, he migrated to the rivers in the beautiful Teton area. With safety as the highest priority. Erik prides himself in the ability to teach any level of angler and student.
