Winn has been fishing for as long as he can remember. In fact, during his very first fishing trip, he fell overboard and proudly claims that was the moment he became “one with the fish.” What began as a childhood obsession eventually turned into a career with WorldCast Anglers — proof that spending an unreasonable amount of time on the water can sometimes pay off. Winn attended Auburn University, where he studied Wildlife Enterprise Management. His passion for the outdoors extends far beyond fishing, and he’s always eager to share his knowledge of wildlife, conservation, and life outside. He also specializes in convincing people that the fish they lost was almost certainly a state record.
Whether guiding experienced anglers or introducing someone to fly fishing for the very first time, Winn brings an easygoing personality, plenty of humor, and genuine enthusiasm to every trip. His goal is simple: make sure guests leave with lasting memories, new skills, plenty of laughs, and hopefully enough fish stories to make their friends back home jealous.
