South Fork Fishing Report – (10.18.21)
Flows have dropped to around 1,640 cfs. We’ve seen some increased turbidity coming out of the Palisades Dam as they change flows around. When the clouds and rain come in, be ready with BWOs. Small dry fly fishing should only improve as Fall progresses. Be ready with smaller mayfly patterns but mostly still in eddies, recirculations and slower water types. Nymphing during the bright sunny afternoons is keeping anglers busy. Streamer fishing is picking up and should continue to be productive as we get closer to the end of October.
