Green River Fishing Report – (9.19.23)
The cooler weather has primed the Green River for the fall fishing season. Water temperatures have cooled off and flows are stable. Look for fall hatches of Mahoganies and BWOs to be the name of the game for the Green for Autumn. When hot/drier weather sticks around don’t forget about Terrestrials – Hoppers, Ants and Beetles. Cooler days and nights should get the Brown Trout more aggressive as they get ready to spawn and fatten up for the winter season. Streamer fishing can be very productive when conditions are optimal.
