Walk Wade Jackson Hole Fishing Report – (8.11.26)

The Jackson Hole and Teton Valley area offers some incredible DIY wade fishing opportunities during the summer and fall periods. Currently, these wade fishing opportunities are in good fishing shape with late summer conditions.
South Fork of the Snake Tributaries: Open and fishing well. These creeks and tributaries are a bit on the low side due to a quick runoff and low snowpack. Be ready for some spooky fish and pair you fly selection and tippet to the situation.
Palisades Reservoir Tributaries: Open. These tributaries are fishing well and some of full of cold water. Look for Terrestrials to be the name of the game.
Jackson Hole/Snake River Tributaries: Some Snake River Tributaries are high and muddy due to recent rains. You’ll just have to wait and watch for water clarity to improve. These tributaries should get good after the recent push of water.
Teton River Tributaries: Open and fishing well. Expect lower than normal conditions and good morning periods of fishing opportunities.
