Teton River Fishing Report – (8.11.26)

The Teton River’s is in true late summertime fishing shape and offering some good days on the water. Water tempatures are getting a bit warm in the afternoons so be sure to carry your thermometer. Take some temperature measurements throughout the day and be aware of any readings in the 67/68 range. Flows are low and gin clear. The Upper River is fishing well with dries, dry droppers as well as streamers especially during the early morning periods. Anglers are seeing hatches of leftover Golden Stones, PMDs, Yellow Sallies and Caddis. The Lower River has been fishing well with Golden Stones. Dry Dropper rigs reign supreme. Once again, watch your water tempatures. Terrestrials are making their presence known so make sure you have some in your fly boxes for the second half of summer.
