WCA Guide Pat Bennett fished the Box last Saturday and Sunday with some clients new to flyfishing and hooked more than 40 fish on on both days. The best flies were the size 6 Pat’s Black and tan rubberlegs with a purple flash prince or red copper bob dropper. The seagulls were picking up bugs crawling out on the bank late in the day yesterday, so the salmon flies should be happening unless the cold sets in. Lots of golden stone nymphs near the bank too. Water is perfect, give our Fly Shop in Island Park a ring for the most up to date conditions, 208-558-7068!
