Flows out of Palisades Dam have jumped to 17,500 to accommodate for the massive inflow of water above the reservoir. This is going to make fishing on the South Fork a challenge, but hopefully flows will stabilize soon. In the mean time, the Henry’s Fork continues to fish extremely well. Nymphing in the Box Canyon has produced some great days (see below), and we are seeing good hatches of Caddis, PMD’s, Flavs and some Grey Drakes below Ashton Dam. The most successful dry fly anglers have been those willing to work slowly and concentrate on rising fish. Get out there and enjoy some of the great fishing The Henry’s is offering up right now!
