Salt River Fishing Report – (7.28.21)
The Salt is clear and fishing well. Irrigators are taking allot of water and fishing seems to be best upstream of the diversion south of Thayne. Be on the lookout for Golden Stones, Drakes, Yellow Sallies, PMDs and Caddis. Dry Dropper fishing has been very good as well. Streamer fishing has been so so with the bright warm weather. Similar to the Teton and the Green, it pays to be one of the first boats on the water on the Salt. Get on early before many of the general recreation users.
