Salt River Fishing Report – (12.23.21)
The Salt can continue to fish well during the winter fishing season. With the low amounts of snow in Star Valley, getting around the Salt River has been easy for this time of year. Anglers should concentrate on the slow water types; especially deep pools and slots as well as recirculations, eddies and bends. Nymphing and streamer fishing will be the most productive tactics but don’t be surprised if you see some fishing eating midges on the surface.
