Salt River Fishing Report – (3.20.23)
The Salt River is in early spring shape. Be ready for some of the slower areas of the river to be breaking up from ice and snow. Anglers should concentrate on nymphing slower holes, buckets and bends and other slower water types. Don’t be surprised if you see some fish rising and eating midges on the surface when conditions are right! Anglers can probably find more consistent early spring fly fishing options on the Snake River, South Fork of the Snake and Henry’s Fork.
